Endurance
“Endurance is maintaining a task or effort and not
diminishing in quality and efficiency.”
The Pathway to Peak Performance is a guided passage to peak performance. The
ability of the body, mind, and spirit to endure is a culmination point in human
performance. What we are after as mentors is instilling in our students the
significance of enduring at a task or effort and diminishing in quality and
efficiency. There is a great need to learn to persevere. Endurance is the step
that leads to potential. That potential is not only to be realized in the
physical performance realm, but in all of life. Our children will not arrive at
maturity through our educational institutions alone. Knowledge and education are
only partially the answer.
In regard to Champions – to experience some things in life there are no short
cuts. The ability to endure is important for our kids to learn. Mentors must
know endurance well in order to impart it.
